It's the state where "I'm gonna take the highway" means a four minute commitment, where you measure distance in Dunkin stops, and where you will absolutely get cut off in the Providence rotary by someone doing 55 with a coffee milk in one hand. You wave at them too. Different kind of wave, but still a wave. Add in the Del's, the clam cakes, the Cranston accent that turns "quahog" into a three syllable event, and yeah, a wave is about right.
